My days i København sadly continue to dwindle away... The comfort zone shall once again be shook... The old will be new again... The transition has begun: Kimberly Sue McCollister has arrived in Copenhagen! She says hi :)! Two of three final examinations are done!
In ten days I will be back in the good ol USA... and in the ocean ASAP!
Can't wait to see everyone!
Gonna try to savor the last drops of this time through Europe...

Some of the recent efforts;) -

Kimmy (Belated Birthday Girl) and I at the appropriately named (for Kim's sake) Sushitarian, grubbing some beautiful sushi and watching the street scene.

"JuleFrokost" (Christmas Lunch... Party;)) with the lovely, amazingly hospitable, yummy food creating, Dane-American friends, Billy, Charlotte, Jazbo, and Spencer. A Family of musicians. A lot of fun :)!

Some of the tasty, generally nearly necessary belly-warm up special, Glogg. Very nice :) Might have to import this one back with me...

A nice evening in Vesterbro. The always popular VEGA nightclub. More fun :)

Double-decker, dark chocolate coated, ginger cheesecake... need anyone say more... mmmmm:)

Fun and food... heh, there was a good amount of studying involved in all this too, and their will continue to be. 10 Days. One more exam. Wow! I can't believe it....

So I went Ice Skating for my first time... I don't think it is my thing... ;)
Additional photographic proof of the Dane's Christmas celebratory spirit and Seth slicing ice with his blades.

Long time no blog entry... A bit of an update:

Copenhagen at Christmas time... The Danes love Christmas, and they will find any reason to get together and partake in some festive occasion as long as alcohol is involved: Christmas lunches, brunches, dinners, parties, decoration making parties, present wrapping parties, all the stores are open on Sundays now, shopping malls are open 24/7 til Christmas, lights everywhere, Santa hats everywhere... quite festive times here in Copenhagen. Massive consumption of all sorts including some seasonal specialties such as "glogg" which is pretty much every type of booze mixed with cinnamon, raisins, and all sorts of other crazy stuff heated up... Danes? Go figure? It is actually pretty good:) "Aeblesliver"(The A and e are suppose to be one letter, but I dont have that key, undskyld:)) which is basically this yummy apple donut thing, mmmmm... Christmas beer from all over Denmark. I even saw a Christmas beer from a Greenland brewery. Breweries in greenland? Go figure? The Danes love their Schnops around this time too, keep the belly warm, and many a Dane takes the liberty to season their Schnops with a variety of flavors. The Danes do not mess around in their celebration of Christmas... I guess their territories do not either? Been hanging with these two crazy, awesome guys a bunch as well. That is Mr. Sethery, the other half of Starving Student Services on the left hand side from good ole North Carolina, and Mr. Jeremy from beautiful B.C., Canada on the right hand side, a frequent Starving Student Services customer;) Fellow big reggae fan as well... great guys.
I had my final basketball game with my beloved danish hoops squad, "Herre 2" today. I am gonna practice with them until I leave... These guys are awesome, and good basketball players. I will leave them undefeated after sealing our final victory today. Go get em boys! For anyone that knows Mr. Zachary Borello check out the guy, #7 Jochen in the center of the picture; this guys is Zach in 10 years if Zach got slower and smarter with age... cracks me up. Also, continuing on with the similarity of characters in my basketball experiences... my coach was scarily similar in all manners to my High School Coach Donnellan... in so many ways. Ha! Being on this team was awesome. It improved my Danish too as Pfumo, our big man from Zimbabwe and I, were the only native English speakers.
